Hi I’m Charles. I’m a designer who likes learning new things and who wants to build useful, quality products.

I’m currently at Envato leading design of search and content. Helping creatives to find stock assets and deliver work at speed, while we navigate the craziness of generative AI.



Before that, I was at Roam Digital working on SaaS apps and product strategy, helping companies navigate their 'digital transformation' (turning post-its into dashboards). Earlier at Roam, I focussed on building mobile apps, back when Material Design was cool.


Before that, in 2014 I completed Masters in Interaction Design, specialising in augmented and mixed reality. Which I was glad to leave behind after seeing how bad Google Glasses were.
